1951 Mercury Eight Coupe This is a great running and driving example of a 1951 Mercury Coupe.The exterior and interior were restored some years ago and both show well. There are some flaws in the paint, but you have to be looking pretty closely to see them. The car appears to be rust free and well taken care of over the years.The mechanicals were mostly rebuilt in 2009. This included the motor and overdrive.The transmission being checked out and the radiator and exhaust system were replaced at the same time.The car starts right up, hot or cold and does not smoke. It runs very smoothly and is a pleasure to drive.Someone could drive this car for many years to come with a minimum of fuss.Great looking and hard to find. All Glass Chrome and bumpers are very good condition. Please remember that if you bid and win the auction, you will be expected to complete the transaction.
