Vehicle Detail
I've had this bike for a couple years as an interim ride while I worked on a couple projects. This bike has been great and I have been pretty impressed with it. Now that my projects are done, I need to sell it. It is mechanically in excellent condition. I am a mechanic myself. I restore old bikes as a hobby, and have always taken great pride in any machine I've owned. This one was no different. It runs like a top, the way I wanted it. Cosmetically, it is nice also. It is all original. The paint is original and has the typical wear for a motorcycle that is 30 years old. Little specs of chipped paint in areas that are not too bad. See pictures for the following: The front fender has chipped paint in some areas, The left side cover has a scratch in it. The right side of the tank has a small crease and the Honda wing has a chip in the decal. The aft cowl is a little faded. The tool box cover is missing. Yeah, a little rash, but nothing too distracting. I see no evidence of serious abuse. No oil leaks, No smoke from the exhaust. No engine noise. It rides very well, straight and true, and I've been up on speed with it and is pretty comfortable. Too comfortable. All in all, I've put about 617 miles on it since I've owned it. Not a lot, but enough to have a good feel for what it is, and to know if anything was wrong. Mechanically, All I did was give it a good cleaning when I bought it. Check and service the fluid levels, and change the spark plugs. It just didn't need really much. Tires still have life, see pictures. The battery has been on a tender since I bought it. This bike would be a great ride for anyone. I would keep it myself, I just have other things in mind at the moment. Sold as is with a clear Pennsylvania title and a bill of sale. Winner will need to make arrangements for pickup at my house, or hire a private shipping company. A $200 dollar deposit must be made within 3 days after the close of this auction. I would like to have the bike paid in full and in the buyers possession within 10 days after auction close. Thank you very much for your consideration.
