Original paint, no rust!! Southern car, has been and Texas and North Carolina since new. Very solid car that runs and looks great! Body and paint: Appears to be all original, paint looks to be original, but still shows very well as you can see in the pictures. Does have a little fading in a few places which I pointed at with my finger, not very noticeable unless you look close. No evidence of rust on the car, underneath looks extremely solid. Body is very straight no evidence of any accidents, paint again is factory and I would rate 7 out of 10, body is very straight I would rate at a 8.5-9. Interior: Considering the age the interior is in great shape, I would say it has been garaged the majority of its life, the dash and woodgrain look great which is rare for these cars. Leather on the seats is in great shape, however lower section of drivers seat must have been replaced because it is a shade lighter, could easily be dyed to match. I have not dyed seats or really cleaned the interior too much but again it looks very original and in good shape for the year. Some of the stitching on rear seat near back window is coming apart(I took a pic) I would rate it a 7 on a scale of 10. Trunk looks very solid, with original spare and floor mats in the rear. A/C works great, ice cold! Only thing I have seen that is not functional is the sunroof, have not investigated it but it does click but does not move. Windows, lights, signals, radio all seem to function properly. Running condition: No complaints here. Runs and drives like a new one. Has great power, doesn't smoke or make any weird noises. Transmission shifts smoothly, gets great fuel mileage, really a joy to drive. These year turbo diesels have lots of power and drive very well unlike the underpowered non turbos from the earlier years. Runs cool no major leaks, only minor residue on oil pan. Factoryradio works but a few pixels are missing. I would not be scared to drive the car anywhere. $500 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction end via papal, no exceptions. Balance due by cash or wire transfer within 5 days of auction end. Shipping is your responsibility, but we can assist you in finding a transporter if you desire. This is still a 30 year old car, so its not perfect, so if you have any specific questions or if you a picky please have a pre inspection done BEFORE you buy. All sales are final.
