Vehicle Detail
Hi Everyone, I am selling my 2000 crown victoria police interceptor. I have not quite had it two years. I have taken great care of it in the time I have had it and have babied it but have also smacked it around every now and then too. It was built it Canada and shipped to the US. It was immediately put into service in Hot Spring National Park where it was used a federal law enforcement vehicle. It was then auctioned off. I have included pictures proving its history and grading. If you are looking at this car you probably know something about the P71 so I will skip the formalities. Everything functions within the car except for a light on the cluster. Sometimes if you hit the dash hard enough it will pop on but I am pretty use to it. This car’s life has been focused on apprehending criminals and law enforcement. It is almost fully equipped for a fugitive recovery vehicle as it stands now. The laptop stand was just taken out but I have left the partition, sirens, and gun mounts in the vehicle. However, to abide by Ebay rules there is no siren box for sirens or guns for the gun mounts! The gun mounts hold an AR-15 and a shotgun side by side. Electronic releases work but have been disconnected (it is just a toggle switch). Again, I am trying to sell a law enforcement car as safe as possible. I also have window armor for the back windows but figured only a few people would need those. If you want them on the vehicle tell me ahead of time and I will install them or can include them in the auction. They are being sold separate so they may be gone by the time the auction ends. Overall, it has never broken down on me. I consistently keep up with the maintenance and basic up-keep of the vehicle. I have to or else everything else suffers. The life of the vehicle is everything for work and I have made sure she will stay alive for many years to come. I do a lot of work from home now and the court house is just down the road so I have put little mileage on the vehicle since having it.I just had her looked over by my mechanic and she is up to date on on of her shots. I have included the latest work done on her just this last week (look in pictures). While replacing the spark plugs two coils snapped so I had my mechanic fix all plugs and both coils. She has been given a good bill of health.Tires are pretty worn so I am including two brand new never used tires for her. Everyone always has a reason why they are selling their vehicle but mine is simple. I just do not drive it as much as I use to nor am I the only one with a vehicle now. Obviously, I am not a deadbeat trying to pull a fast one on someone. The latest cost was almost $400 and that was to get her in tip-top shape for the next guy. I am hoping to use the money for a down payment on something else down the road. The vehicle was built for service and I hardly use her for that anymore with the other vehicles we own. Any questions feel free to ask. If you want to check her out beforehand I am willing to arrange a time where you can come look at her.On May-05-14 at 07:28:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi everyone, The reserve was suppose to drop off much earlier on as I could not originally list the vehicle as a no reserve auction. Ebay automatically put a reserve in my auction when created but it has now been lowered within the next $100 amount. Essentially, there will be no reserve after the bidding expands beyond another $100. I apologize for the inconvenience. (5/05/2014)On May-05-14 at 12:28:03 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a walk-around video of the vehicle. On May-05-14 at 20:04:41 PDT, seller added the following information: For those with no feedback please contact me prior to bidding or your bid will be cancelled. I have no problem with first-time bidder and everyone needs to start somewhere. However, you need credit for many important things in life and buying a car is one of them. Contact me before bidding. On May-05-14 at 22:56:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to answer your questions here so others could see it as well. The vehicle is 14 years old and does not have any type of manufacture warranty. You mentioned a lifetime power train warranty but I know nothing about it. If there is it was not transferred to me knowingly when I bought the car. Therefore, the vehicle is being sold as is with no factory or other warranty implied. Independent inspections are welcome. I just need a valid time frame provided in advance. If the buyer is out of state the plate has to remain in my possession. The title will need to be signed in front of a notary. I will also require a bill of sale or release of liability for insurance purposes. For your own sake I would plan insurance ahead of time or just simply bring a trailer. I hope these answers reach others that wanted them as well. On May-06-14 at 08:27:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Today, I had the Oil changed with Lucas oil treatment added and the transmission flushed. Will post pictures later today with receipt for proof. However, the mechanic noticed a rattle underneath the car that may be a heatshield hitting the pipe. It is very faint while inside of the car and it is only occurring at certain times. It is not engine related but is a bracket or similar. I may try to fix this myself. Royal purple fluid was used. On May-09-14 at 17:41:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I am making myself available for anyone who wants to come test drive the vehicle tomorrow (Saturday). Send me a message on here. I am really trying to make this a positive experience for everyone involved. Keep the questions coming and I will answer them the best they can.
