Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback Eleanor Clone - Factory S-Code - 390 Big Block NEW This 1967 Mustang Fastback is a Factory S-Code (big block), GT car. Every bit of the car has been updated, with a majority of new parts. I have owned this car for almost 3 years, in which the car has been restored. Previously, the car was owned by a man in Missouri, where it was garaged as just the shell. Here's what has been done to prepare the car/frames: The car was blasted and then put on the rotisserie. All rust was removed and new panels installed where needed. Sub-Frame connectors and beefed up torque boxes were installed at this time. The car was then primed and subsequently coated in LizardSkin sound deadener for a quite interior without having to sacrifice a nice loud throttle! The undercarriage was painted matte black, with gloss frame rails (drivetrain and exhaust are aluminum colored). Following this, the drivetrain and body work began. The engine was rebuilt with all new internals, and the heads planed and machined. The transmission (4 speed toploader) was completely rebuilt with new gears, too. The rear end was swapped with a ford 9" rear end, and power rear disc brakes added (THE CAR HAS FACTORY FRONT DISC BRAKES!). All the while, the body work was under way! Here's a list of what's in it: Ford FE 390 Big-Block Engine : Ross Forged Flat-Top PistonsOEM Heads (rebuilt & machined)Holley Street-Dominator IntakeEdelbrock 650cfm 1406 Carburetor with Electric ChokeComp-Cams 282s Camshaft with Solid Lifters (GREAT Lope!)Windage TrayAll new bearings, rings, water pump, oil pump, alternator, & A/C Compressor.Aluminum 3-row radiator with Electric FanHooker HeadersEngine Bay Wire-TuckNEW Classic Auto-Air A/C System Toploader 4 Spd Transmission: Rebuilt with new bearings and gears. Exterior: Mustangs To Fear Eleanor Body Kit - NOT THE CHEAP, FLIMSY KIT ON EBAY!The kit alone is 4000, but is the best built kit on the market, hands down.Vintage Burgandy Metallic with Vintage Gold Metallic Stripes (IRON MAN!!)Mustangs To Fear front grillesFACTORY FOG LIGHT OPTION WITH FACTORY SWITCH INSIDE!!!Coy's C-67 Wheels, wrapped in NEW Firestone FireHawk 245/40/17's Undercarriage: LizardSkin undercoating - sound deadenerSub-Frame Connectors Interior: All new upholstery, keeping with the factory colors.Panels and trim were painted to match the exterior colors.New tread platesFold-Down Rear Seat OptionOEM FORD FACTORY TACHOMETER!!!OEM FORD FACTORY 120MPH SPEEDOMETER!!! Overall, this is a very nice car! It has a lot of factory options and features that really set it apart from your typical mustang: S-Code big block GT, 120mph Speedo, Tach, Fog Lights & OEM Switch, Front disc brakes, etc!!! There's a ton of stuff about this car that really sets it apart from other mustangs out there. However, it's time to buy another home as I start a new job. The car has been a 3 year project. She now runs and drives, but spends most of her time in my garage, protected from the elements! The only time spent outside of the garage, she is trailered to a car show, and under a tent. The car hasn't seen rain or the roads since being restored!! But, as all vintage cars go, they are ALWAYS a project. This one is about 95% done. There is always a way to make the car better, or something else you'd like to try, or another detail you'd like to focus on. This is what I'll be passing on to the new owner. In this spirit, I know of many VERY minor things that the car can use. The rear seat latches need to be installed, and covers for the latches need to be found (the car did not come from the factory with fold down seats and the latch covers don't match). The exhaust ends underneath the car after the mufflers, and it will need tubing and exhaust tips to make the side exhaust functional. I decided against what I had with flex piping and non-eleanor tips, but will include them with the car. The tail light lenses both have a single crack in them. The cracks have been epoxy sealed. I have the wiper-fluid reservoir bag, and piping for the washer fluid, but wanted to go with the 1968 style bin instead of the bag. I will include the bag, hanging hook, and plumbing with the car. I am missing the passenger interior door handle as seen in the pictures (installs with a single screw). The A/C system was recently installed, but hasn't received freon or a leak check...it doesn't affect it running at all and all interior fans, etc works. Lastly, it needs a shift boot installed. The old one was in bad shape and didn't match the interior. I have the shift boot trim, and that's included. I have made every attempt to be open and honest about the car and where it stands. I DO recommend any prospective buyer comes to see the car for themselves prior to purchase. The car is sold as-Is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Payment shall be made via cash, or wire-transfer. No checks will be accepted. A $500 Non-Refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours of auction close.
