It's been in storage for about 6 years waiting to be restored since we owned it, but never got around to doing anything with it. The interior upholstery, carpet, door panels and headliner were all redone by the previous owner and looks great. Someone added an expensive stereo cd player, with large amp in trunk that I don't like, but perhaps the next owner wants it. This car was ordered with a wonder-bar signal seeking radio and dual power antennas. This car has a great running original engine. We were told by previous owner the engine was rebuilt, but didn't get any paperwork. It has aftermarket oil gauge under dash showing good oil pressure. The transmission functions fine and the car will run drive and stop well enough to load it onto a transporter. Have a new transmission filter and gasket that comes with car. The original Supercharger works, but bearing noise tells me it needs to be rebuilt. Although previous owner drove it the way it is and I did test drive it on the highway when I bought it, the brakes should be done and the car deserves a nice restoration. See the video and hear the engine run with the below link. The horn is blown at the end of the videos. With Supercharger Belt connected: http://s287.photobucket.com/user/studebakerlady/media/57pack/13engvideo.mp4.html Without Supercharger Belt connected: http://s287.photobucket.com/user/studebakerlady/media/57pack/12engvideo.mp4.html There are areas on outer panels shown in pictures that have some rust bubbles. The chrome needs replating. Rear Antennas are busted off, but power motors and switch are still there. Right rear exhaust tip gone. The front grill is dented inward and right bullet needs replacement. The left rear wing window, front windshield and right front door glass have cracks needing replacement. Lower windshield trim wasn't installed, but is included. It has electric windows and some switches may not be working. Cat whiskers and weather stripping should be replaced if it’s going to be restored, or driven in rain. There are some exterior lenses and emblems that need to be replaced. We have had it in storage for 6 years since we owned it. We just put a battery in it and it fired right up and drove outside for pictures. Brake fluid was added and pumped up so they work, but should be gone through. If you want a unique car that will be the only one of its kind at car shows, or something with both luxury and performance, this Packard is amazing!
