Hello, Up for auction is a very nice 1959 corvette. Clean title in my name. If you are looking for a numbers matching car this car is not for you. But………. If you want a great running car that is not too expensive then here it is!!! Let’s start with the drive train. Engine and transmission are not original to the car. Engine is a 327ci/335hp. It was built by Engine builders of Arizona .And I have to tell you it runs tight & strong…….no unwanted noises no burning oil….nothing but a great running engine. Here are the specs to the engine. This Chevy 327 crate engine by Tuff Dawg Engines with 335HP @ 5000rpm and 393ft lbs of torque @ 4000rpm it has good all around power, This engine has enough cam to let you know it has good all around power. Featured in this engine: * 3.250" stroke crank * 5.7" forged rods with ARP rod bolts * 9 to 1 compression flat top pisons * Deck head gasket surface on block to ensure a good seal * New CompCams hydraulic flat tappet high performance cam * Heads with 1.940"Int/1.500"Exh valves * New 1.250" high performance springs set up to match cam * New High temperature valve seals * New Spiral-type valve guides * New Screw-in rocker studs and guide plates * New Steel rocker arms with balls and nuts * New Hardened push rods * New Perfect Circle rings * New Double row timing set * New Oil pump with welded big pickup screen and steel drive shaft and steel guide * New Brass expansion plugs * New Edelbrock (non-egr) Dual Plane Performer RPM aluminum intake Transmission is an M21 Muncie. All gears shift fine. Rear end is posi with 3:73 gears. Gear ratio is not too high and not too low… Just right for a quick start !!!. Brakes are all redone with disc on the front and drums on the rear. Steering box is rebuilt and has new front and rear stocks(Bilstien) Exhaust is new stock for the car. Nice rumble sound…. Body is in great shape a few little nicks here and there, not perfect, but very nice deep shine. The front section is not original to the car. It has new a one piece front section no cracking in the fender wells. All chrome new or replated & shiny….New windshield too. Interior has new seat foam and covers & carpet. Comes with an aftermarket reproduction removable hard top. Tires and rims ( Cragers) are all in excellent condition. Needs:Alot of little things done to complete the car. But most of the real expensive stuff is already done.Needs door panels,door handles.I have the side glass and frames that go with the car. Along with some other parts. See pictures. IT WILL NEED SOME WORK.... but you are able to drive it now. All in all a great looking and running car… These are getting very hard to come by AND more expensive as each day passes…so bid to own your very own 1959 Corvette….
