Vehicle Detail
This Honda 90 is Great! However this bike is not running is for parts or restoration. The good is that it sports the super rare mid 60's roadster tank. These original OEM Kits we available from honda to make these early step thru's look more like a motorcycle and these kits are very hard to come buy. Find out more about how cool these kits are here: Google: chalopy.blogspot.com/2009/07/honda-custom-group.html. I have only seen one of these tanks in person at a Bob Louge's Williamsport PA Museum. More good is this bike has new points and I have both white side covers. The bad is that all I have from the "kit" is the roadster tank. However the seat and tank attachment part are somewhat custom but made from OEM honda parts. This bike gets spark with a properly charged 6V battery (battery not included in auction) and it has good compression. The bike does not start and I assume it must be fuel and/or carb needs cleaning. I need to get rid of this bike because after I barn found it in the next town over almost 2 years ago I am no closer to finding the time to get it running. No title but if I can assure the buyer if he wants to register it, that can be registered without issue. Most these bikes are so old and small not titles are needed, and the sale will come with bill of sale. There are 5500 mi on the speedo. I am setting a high starting price because I just want what I have into the roadster tank and seat and because I put new OEM points on it to get spark and bought new side covers. It had no ignition switch when I bought it so I wired up a temp switch in place of the ignition and with a battery the electrical appeared to work. I as stated above I was able to get spark with a battery and even got the Neutral Light to come on and I think the headlight worked too! The side cover on picture #3 is new and I also have one for the other side, however the exact fitmet still needs to be worked out. I was going to mount the on/off switch in the side cover not pictured as I purchased the early side cover with the hole in it, but too many projects and too little time. My loss is your gain, pick up where I left off and have a street or trail bike like nobody else!! Local pickup is recommended but I will assist if buyer wants to ship. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
