You are looking at a 1959 Edsel Wagon. It's a 6 passenger Villager with the 332cid Express V8, and Mile-O-Matic 2-speed transmission. There are some parts missing in the photos that are included with sale, like rear bumper, misc chrome trim along with some extra doors. Back story: My grandpa bought and drove this car in the 60's, it was my dads first car and he drove it in high school. In 1967 my dad was drafted in the Army, and while he was serving my grandpa sold the car. One day in the late 70's, my dad was driving through town and noticed the Edsel sitting outside of a body shop. When he realized it was his old car he got the cars owners info and bought it back. He really did not have any use for it at the time so he parked it in the barn and that is where it was sitting for the last 35 years untouched until now. The car ran and drove when it was parked. It's a pretty solid car, from what I can see. The frame looks good, and the floor does not seem to be that bad. I did not have it on a lift or really get under the car for inspection, my judgment is based off the car sitting on the trailer. As you can see in the pictures, the bottom of the doors look good. The rear quarters have been replaced along with the rocker panel on the passenger side. The body shop who was working on it at the time did not finish the job, that is why you see surface rust on the repairs. Thanks.
