Special case car!! was driving it and the intank fuel pump failed. I replaced it and the car never started back. took it to a VW dealership and they determined that the timing belt is broken. When i took it apart The belt was intact but the teeth of the belt were worn. I was told to resurface the head and replace the valves. when the engine was taken apart it was found that there was absolutly nothing wrong with anything. too late i already bought the parts. after I put it back together. I resurfaced the head but not the valves!! All I did was adding another gasket to raise the head and I know it's wrong but just to find out where is the problem and yep car runs nice a great. Since the valves were never milled or resurfaced they are not sitting good! In the end you will either need to mill the valves or get a new head. here is a list of items replaced: 1-timing belt kit, including new tensioner, water pump, and accessory belt. 2-lifters 3-valves, intake and exhaust 4-gaskets 5-turbo, (done less than 1000 mi )(everything for the turbo was replaced a $2000 kit and labor job) 6-brakes, and rotors 7-intank fuel pump I am the second owner and bought it from the first owner. Car is in an outstanding condition otherwise. On Apr-24-14 at 05:58:11 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW INFORMATION : I CAN DELIVER UP TO 100 mi from Bayonne NJ!
