Vehicle Detail
2003 Jeep Rubicon 48,660 miles. The Jeep was bought new by me in 6/03 drove it for a few years as a daily driver. took it off the road in 05 to do a trail rig build. I have been using it since as a recreational vehicle. I would drive it on the road to and from the trail not real far distances 10 or 15 miles. I have been putting it on a trailer for the past two years only because I bought a truck capable of towing. The Jeep looks pretty rusty on the body but it is solid it is just surface rust on the body armor. Little dings and scrapes in the paint on that 3/16 steel leads to some surface rust over the 9 years it's been on there. the whole rig is done in Poison Spyder. The paint is pretty scratched up I guess if you cared about cosmetics you could media blast it and give it a fresh coat of some paint or Line-X. It also has a Spyder trail cage. The bumpers are Bullet Proof, not sure if the company is still around or not but they have been on there since day one. They are super tough. She's got some 5:13 gears a Center Force clutch & 34X10.50 Swamper LTB's. Killer combination in my opinion. No mud to deep no hill to steep! She digs HARD it was good setup for the terrain in the PA Appalachians. It has a Rubicon Express 3.5 short arm lift. The front axle control arm mounts have been upgraded to heavy duty ones. It also has an HD tie rod, Rock Crusher front diff cover, Warn fuel tank skid plate & oil pan skid plate Everything mechanically is working properly, I had it out this past holiday weekend with no issues. lockers work, trans shifts as it should and transfer case shifts smoothly. The heater only blows on high and the seats don't fold up properly, they never were major issues for me so I never addressed them. It will be sold with the soft top and full doors. The top has a couple more seasons in it I suppose but it is getting old. In the pics it shows no windows in the top I couldn't find them at the time of the pics but did find them later on. I do have a hard top as well it is not included in the sale but available for an additional $500. If you have questions please ask. Send me a message I can give my number If you want to talk about Jeep a little. You are more than welcome to come look at the Jeep any day of the week at any time It is located in 17901at a friends business. The reserve is set at a realistic price, I have a clean PA title in hand. I can also help with transportation .85 cents a mile round trip. I'm pretty flexible, as long as I can do the trip in a weekend I'll try and help out. Please contact me before you purchase if you want me to provide transportation otherwise I can't guarantee you I can help you out. On Apr-22-14 at 15:27:46 PDT, seller added the following information: One or two other things I can think of, I modified the lockers to operate in high or low gear, and it also has a Banks header and Banks cat back. The center console lid is missing and the bottom of the steering column is missing. It is wired for auxiliary lights and has a dual post battery if you ever wanted to hook up a winch, air compressor or any other kind of accessory you would want to direct wire to the battery & and it has a master power shut off right next to the ignition. On Apr-24-14 at 02:22:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes, the back seat, carpets and side windows for the top are included. the carpets are in good condition the spent most of their life in my attic and are in decent shape. Thanks everyone for all the interest in the Jeep.
