I bought this bug to be a personal toy! Since then many things have changed which have made it all but impossible for me to keep this toy due to time and space constraints. Money is not the problem so I won't just give this car away, but I will let it go for less than half of what I think it is worth. I bought this car from a guy who had spent over $2000.00 having a garage work on it, they had changed the brakes, wheel cylinders, rebuilt the carb. and some other work but still couldn't get the car to run right. I rebuilt the carb. correctly and it ran like a spotted ape. This is when my son decided to take it for a joy ride to see just how "peppy" it was, and he jumped a curb and hit a light pole. The engine is at least a 1600 c.c. dual port and feels like it might be larger with a cam. The interior is somewhat threadbare from being an older restoration but is very attractive and I feel could be easily brought back.
