I love this bike, but I don't need two dual-sports. I bought this after my KTM was stolen as a replacement and it really is a dream to ride. I've made some modifications and it runs very well on or off-road. However, my KTM was recovered by the police -in operational condition- and I need to sell one of these dual-sports. Due to the fact that the KTM has sentimental value to me, the CRF must go to a new home. About the bike: It's registered in New York State, has a clean title and insurance. It's recognized by the NYS DMV as a street bike, but is an awesome off-road machine. You can ride it in the dirt, on the street and just about anywhere your skill level will take you. It has a clear title and can be registered in any state. The oil has always been changed every 200 miles. The battery has been on a tender all winter, so it's fresh as well. The battery is about three years old. I checked the valves about 600 miles ago and they were within spec, but when I checked them this week the exhaust were just a little tight. I did not adjust them. The mileage may go up a bit if the weather stays nice, but she will be clean and ready to ride for the new owner. On Apr-19-14 at 19:24:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked a question about the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) value of this motorcycle by a prospective buyer and just did some research... KBB lists this bike for 'suggested retail value, in excellent condition at $3,350'. My reserve is set a little higher than that, which I think is fair considering the condition and the accessories that come with the bike. Not to mention the fact that this is a STREET LEGAL Honda CRF450X! I'm biased, but I think that's a pretty awesome find on the East coast. Also, mileage wise you can ride for 160-200 miles between fill-ups with the Acerbis tank. It all depends on how you use your right wrist. Thanks for looking.
