A nice example of a classic Mercedes-Benz 300D TurboDiesel (W123) 4-door sedan. * The color is a pleasing ‘Silver Blue Metallic’ (MB Color Code DB-930) * 195,245 actual miles (the speedometer and odometer are both in good working order) * Tires - Size: P195/70-R14 "Cooper Lifeliner GLS’ all season radial - 75%+ tread * Leather seating (not MB-Tex vinyl) in nice condition * Power sun roof - works well * Power windows - all 4 in good working order * 4-speed automatic transmission * Tires - matched set of 4 ‘Cooper Lifeliner’ (size 195/70R14) with 70% tread remaining * Matched set of 5 Mercedes ‘bunt cake’ style alloy rims (4+ the spare) *A/C blows nice-n-cold * Just serviced with fresh oil and filters * Original ‘Becker Europa’ AM/FM/Casette - working * All in all, a well cared for example of a classic Mercedes-Benz 300 Series TurboDiesel. * Maryland registered with historic plates and clear Maryland title * A good candidate for a vegi-oil / bio-diesel / grease-car conversion if you so choose Items needing attention: The transmission slips somewhat in 1st gear when starting out (1st gear only and otherwise very drivable) - it has been suggested to me tby two mechanics hat it needs a new 'vacuum modulator valve’ for the fix. Some small areas of rust at the back edges of the wheel well arches and at the edges of the front valance panel under the bumper. I’m selling this Mercedes 300D for the simple reason that I just purchased a 300TD (wagon). I want you to know what your buying. This Mercedes-Benz 300D is not perfect in every way ... it's very close and as fine an example of the model that one could ever expect for a 31 year old vehicle. There are minor imperfections as one would well expect ... very minor indeed. Some very slight paint chips and a few very minor scratches that can't possible be shown in photos like these.
