Ready to go now. Ebay will not allow external * links to additional pictures. I had to restart the auction, I will send a link to more pictures if you send me a request. Thanks. 1975 Porsche 911S, $11,684.77 spent on mechanical restoration 437 miles ago. (08/2006)Please read the FULL story about this great car and email with additional questions. The car was purchased in mid 2006 for $17,500, ( overpaid IMO ) the car was located in Los Angeles and the buyer had the car shipped to the east coast. Upon arrival, the car was send to Eurosport Porsche in Virginia Beach,Va for service. The buyer wanted this car to be a reliable daily driver. Eurosport was given an open checkbook, they treated the car like an airplane, they fixed mechanical issues before they occurred and corrected the knownproblems upon post purchase inspection. Please see the detailed paperwork on repairs performed. I can email the documents directly if my * link does not work. The car was then scheduled for cosmeticwork and the repair of a rusty battery area/ front pan. The owner also wanted to do a color change back to the original color which is a darker tan/brown. I agree with that course of action since originality is veryimportant to the value of these cars. After the $11k mechanical work, The car logged 437 miles over the course of the next 11 months. The owner parked the car in the garage 08/2007 and never touched it again. He said the car hurt his back and he did not enjoy owning the car as much as he imagined he would. Probably because he was $30,000into a car that still needed a ride to the body shop. In the 2013 the car moved from the garage to the driveway where it sat for six months under a cover. I purchased the car as you see it, the only thing I have done was drainthe fuel and try to crank it up. The car has no spark or power from the cdi box. I bought a used cdi perma-tunefrom someone on rennlist and it will be included in the sale. The car will need another trip to the garage since it hasbeen sitting for almost 7 years, however, this car has a great deal of mechanical potential and will easily be rocksolid again. I am not a mechanic. I am a Porschephile. I currently own several 911`s and one 930. I love this carbut I need to pay down some medical bills our growing little family has incurred. We have 22 month old twin boysand my mindset and spending habits are evolving, I must sell this car. By the way, I finally found two humans who arevery content in the backseat of a vintage 911. Thank you so much for looking, save my seller name as I may beselling some 911 Porsche parts and perhaps my 1973 911 project. NEW: (08/2006) 437 MILES AGO. # Oil fed tensioner update.# Original Transmission fully rebuilt, (see records.)# Stainless heat exchanger x 2# Blower fan motor# Bosch Starter# New Bridgestone Tires x 4 (still have nipples on tread surface)# Sunroof cable and guide.# Oil hose 91110772800# Brake Pads.# Valve cover set# sway bar bushings. Plus Dozens of additional items, including LEAKDOWN see records. The Bad News: the car needs a front pan.The pan is rusted out. The car needs paint, new door pockets and the black seat inserts are worn. Car been sitting for 7 years. penny sized rustbubble on pass door. Sunroof leaks a little, steering wheel is not original and needs recovering, etc. The Good News: car is accident free, body panelsare very very straight, no dents and only one tiny dingon entire car, original aluminum front calipers were rebuilt, dash and other interior parts are very presentable. No structural rust or surprises (I know where to look). Solid mechanical platform. Includes factory tool kit 99% complete, original owners manual, clean and clear title in hand, honestseller & Easy Export or Stateside shipping. When I buy a car, I want full disclosure. I sell cars with the same mindset.I have owned more than 20 911`s, I have had some real sexy cars that endedup having three pounds of body filler throughout the car and poor rust repairsthat grew like mushrooms in spring. I want the buyer to look at the picturescarefully, make an assessment, ask questions and then bid accordingly. The only bondo I could find is on the deck lid. I want the buyer to be happywith purchase, please don`t expect a perfect car and understand that I amselling a car made in 04/1975. You may encounter a problem which I have not discovered, however, I expect my assessment to be accurate based on previous transactions and general knowledge of aircooled 911`s. I wouldrather scare away a few people and end up with a happy buyer than havesomeone contact me two months after the sale with hurt feelings. AS-IS. On Apr-22-14 at 14:49:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Service records and additional pictures are available on Facebook. Please search " Virginia Porsche " within Facebook. This is the easiest way for me to set up a page that contains text photos and video of this and future Porsche endeavors. Email if you have trouble viewing the page, best wishes. Facebook : Virginia Porsche On Apr-25-14 at 21:33:47 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks for the interest, I tried to provide the most accurate estimates for International Shipping. The cost of shipping overseas will be relatively inexpensivefor a variety of reasons. #1 the car is located within 12 miles of NIT Port of Virginia, #2 I personally secure the car within a 20ft container for safe transit, #3 I submit all required documents to U.S Customs for export to avoid additional third party fee`s. I hope this is a good generic answer to questions or concerns from overseas buyers. Best regards,Bruce.
