Thanks for looking!!! Up for auction is this 2003 Volkswagen Passat GLS 1.8 liter turbo with only 110,000 2 owner miles. Its a clean title/carfax history car that shows no body damage ever. Physically it was well cared for and it shows. We believe someone neglected to put antifreeze back in it and it froze up this winter. It does run, but on 3 cylinders and has had a head gasket done which did not fix the problem. When you pull the radiator/reservoir cap off, it shoots exhaust gas/water out of it so there is a definite problem with the water and oil staying separate, though there is no water in the oil from what I can see. I am guessing a cracked block or cylinder head. I would suggest replacing the entire engine and I cannot guarantee that it will start when you get here to pick it up, though it does run now. This car currently has a retail book of well over $6000, we are starting it at $1500 with NO RESERVE. Plenty of room to spend a few $$$ on a motor and have a fantastic looking German sedan.
