For your consideration: A beautiful, completely original, 1977 Honda CB400F in Parakeet Yellow. This garage-kept, two owner bike has only 6,005 miles, and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. All engine, suspension, brake, and electrical components are in perfect working order. This bike has been in my collection for 5 years. I bought it from an older gentleman who purchased the bike in April of 1977. He had originally wanted the Candy Antares Red version, but the dealer had only the Parakeet Yellow model in stock. The same day he bought the bike, he ordered the red tank and side covers which were then installed by the dealer. The Parakeet yellow tank and side covers sat wrapped and boxed until I bought the bike. The original tank and covers were reinstalled, and they look as new as the day they were manufactured. As you can see from the pictures, the legendary 4 into 1 chrome pipes have a beautiful luster, the fenders gleam, the chrome wheels and spokes shine, and the frame components all look great. The seat is perfect with lettering completely intact and no tears. All factory decals are intact. There are minor marks on the engine cases consistent with boot marks. There are new Battlax BT45R tires, and the bike has a brand new YUASA conventional lead acid battery. The bike comes complete with the original tool kit, owners manual, workshop manual, and 4 Honda ignition keys. The motorcycle has always been dealer maintained, and runs like a dream. I used this bike for display and show. It is one of the finest remaining examples of this rare model. As a collector of Vintage Hondas, this bike has been my pride and joy. It is only with extreme reluctance, and the never ending need for more garage space, that I have decided to part with this gem.
