1978 Ford F150 4x4. 351M, C6 NOTE: Truck has clear title. It is missing the VIN plate on the drivers door jam. This is an excellent example of a clean & rust free "dent-side" ford pickup. The truck is a rare short bed 4x4. Sitting high with a skyjacker suspension lift and 37" tires on new 16.5 rock crawler rims. Beautiful pearl maroon paint sparkles in the sun and compliments the all black trim. This truck is a true eye catcher and looks phenomenal, I have had many compliments on the appearance. The truck has square headlights like a 1979 Ford. All lights, signals and gauges work except the dome light. Electrically, this truck is solid and doesn't have any ignition issues or shorts. The 351M motor runs strong and is fed through a completely rebuilt Motorcraft 2150 2bbl carburetor. Motor has all new plugs and wires, new filters, pcv valve and is vacuum leak free. Dana 44 high pinion front axle and 9" rear axle. 3.50 gears keeps the RPM's down on the highway. Truck gets between 10-12 MPG! Hi/low transfer case NP205. Brand new rear drive shaft. Interior is clean. New LMC carpet covers rust free floor pans. Dash cover w/no cracks. Seat is in fine condition. Door panels are not perfect but workable (see pictures). All glass is solid. Only issue: Cannot get the rear trim over the wheel wells to sit flush with the fender. The OEM clips are difficult to work with and I didn't want to mess with them. The new owner can decide how they want to deal with the rear trim. Truck drives great, doesn't overheat over Colorado mountain passes. Tracks straight but drives like a 79 with big wheels.
