Vehicle Detail

1968 all original TR250…amazing survivor! I’m the second owner of this incredible car. First purchased in Long Beach in 1968 and garage kept by it’s first owner until 2007. I purchased it as a “black plate” California car, had it transported to Florida where it has been kept in an air-conditioned, clean environment for the last seven years. Original mileage in 2007 was 75,662 and I’ve driven it 472 miles over the last seven years. This car is as “original” as it gets! All paint is original, in great shape, and glossy with two exceptions. 1) the small vent flap between the hood and windscreen has been repainted and; 2)I had the “250 hood stripe” repainted, because the original had been waxed so many times, it had almost disapperared! Top & tonneau are “as new”, and I have a full cover for the car. Excellent “red stripe” tires. No body damage, ever! All chrome is shiny, pit-free, straight. Factory fitted trunk rack (no bolt holes thru the trunk, mounted to the hinges and license tag bracket. Seats are original leather in amazing shape with no tears or damage. Tools, jack and spare are all included. Chrome wheels are in great shape. Paint is just as nice under the hood as it was when built. Carpets are a bit faded, one small cutout surrounding the right, footwell speaker, but in great shape for almost 50 year old carpet, no rust under the factory rubber mats, at all! I had the seals replaced, brake cylinders rebuilt, fuel hoses replaced during the last two years. I would have no concerns about driving this car on a cross-country trip….it’s that tight. You see other cars that look nice, and “frame off restorations” that are pricey and pretty, but finding a truly “original” car, that looks and drives like this are rare! Keep in mind, this is not a “restoration”, so it isn’t “perfect” but I’d put it up against any “original” TR 250 in the country! Low reserve, I need the garage space, THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD! DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NO EBAY EXPERIENCE, OR A POOR RATING (without contacting me first)!! I WILL DELETE YOUR BID!!
