This 1966 Chevy Caprice Four Door Hard Top was just traded to us on a 1969 Buick Skylark and is offered here for sale at no reserve. The car runs and shifts well and is a numbers matching example with the original 327 under the hood. This car is a project for the next owner and is NOT a show car or even a good daily driver without some work. The previous owner replaced the stock exhaust manifolds with newer headers and that is where his exhaust work stopped. The car needs pipes run and there are two new mufflers included which are still in the boxes. The original manifolds are in the trunk and are included as well. The brakes work but are soft and the car has power steering but manual brakes. The vehicle has been repainted and is starting to show some signs of rust around the rear window as well as a few other spots around the body. The worst of the rust is behind the right rear wheel and is not through but the panel but will require some attention. The floors and frame are solid. The interior is original and will require repair at a bunch of the seams. We have tried to take pictures to document the condition of the vehicle accurately and you are welcome to contact us with any questions. I recommend the car be towed by the winning bidder due to the condition of the exhaust and the soft brakes. Obviously, the car is sold AS-IS.
