I purchased this car a my "play toy" however I am approaching 70 and can no longer aford the luxury. I keep this car at my condo in Florida and drive it while I am there but it does need some TLC and I just dont have the time nor inclination. I am currently having the convertible top motor replaced and a few other miscellaneous items due to the car just sitting for weeks at a time. Some of these items include, topping off and inspecting power steering, checking CVT and check engine light....work being done by German Mechanic in Tarpon Springs FL. This is a car for someone who appreciates the value of this complete ungrade but who is also willing to understand that many of these ungrades do need attention from time to time and my health and age to not allow for me to do that any longer. I have set a reserve that would probably be what one could get for the super charger, wheels and tires and a few of the electronics so I am not asking for any thing close to what has been invested in this one of kind vehicle. It does get attention so be prepared to get a lot of "stares"! On Apr-15-14 at 07:53:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several questions about condition and location...here are the specifics..I live in Atlanta but have a condo in Tampa area where the car is kept and it is titled in FL. It has been sitting for a few months because of my health. I have it with my mechanic and he is replacing the convertible top motor and looking at other details, ie the power steering seems rough when starting up so going to change fluid, might need a pump. The engine idles rough when just starting but might just be due to sitting but he is seeing if there are any hose leaks etc that might need replacing. The CVT had a plastic piece break by the shifter and I have been told there are some magnets that activate it that might be misplaced. Should be a minor issue. The car could use a detail, including carpets cleaned, wheels polished etc.to get it in "show" condition. Again due to sitting.
