Vehicle Detail

RELISTED DUE TO WINNING BIDDER BEING LAID OFF A DAY AFTER HE WON THE AUCTION. PLEASE KNOW TRANSPORT COSTS AND HAVE FUNDS IN ORDER BEFORE BIDDING. Up for sale here at no reserve I have a fairly uncommon first year factory automatic transmission equipped 1953 Ford F100 truck wearing its original blue paint minus the drivers door that was given to one of the previous owners bosses for his truck. I would have told my boss to shove it instead of messing up the cool look of this truck. The truck has a clear ks title that matches the tag inside the glove box and stamped on the crossmember under the radiator. The engine is the factory 215 six cylinder and its junk it has a very large hole in the lower block and its missing the carb and air cleaner. The factory ford-o-matic transmission is all there with the trans cooler and lines. I also have the factory driveshaft although its not pictured. The engine had to be put back into the truck to get a clear title and thats where its at now. The truck has had no bodywork attempted on it in its life and is original paint other than the drivers door and the lower door panel on the inside of the passenger door was spray painted baby blue for some reason. The truck does have some rust and its share of dings but nothing that couldn't be straightened up if you wanted to restore the truck. The roof gutters and hood are great. The roof has some small dings on it. The drivers side front floor is the worst rust followed by the removable floor section above the trans. The passenger side floor and the area under the seat is all very solid. The kick panels and firewall are perfect. The front fenders both have some dents in them and rust up near the corner where the inner fenders meet the cab. The inner fenders also have rust there. The front fenders had some lights mounted on them at some point. The grill is as straight as could be and complete. The front valance is bent up a little but could be straightened up. There's also two holes cut with the mounts for some attachment for the front of the truck coming through. The front bumper is badly bent. The runningboards have some dings along the edge and some rust where you step to get into the truck. The lower cowls both have very minimal rust starting and the cab corners have rust as well. The drivers side cowl has a crease in it where it looks like a door blew around. The drivers side door needs some audjustment because it doesn't open and close as nicely as the other side but it does latch and work properly. The rear fenders are both very nice. The bed is very solid with a metal floor installed over the original wood in the bed but it does have dent on the drivers side rail and the front panel is beat up some. The tailgate also has some dings in it but its not terrible. The rear bumper is straight with a farm made receiver built onto it that would probably haul a anything this truck would ever be capable of. The frame is straight and rust free. All of the glass in the truck is gone or garbage. The seat is just sitting in the truck and the mounting bracket needs repair on the drivers front. RIght now the truck is missing the lid for the battery box and the metal pieces that go around the steering column but I think I will come up with these parts before the auction ends. I will revise the listing if I get these parts. Also included but really not needed are some spare body parts from another F100 and these are a radiator support, a very nice drivers side fender with only rust in the seam up by the cab, a grill with some dings, a front valance with some dents and a passenger side fender with some dents and a tear. This truck is selling at no reserve and the auction may end at anytime before a bid is placed because the truck is for sale locally. Shipping is the buyers responsibility but I can deliver it within 250 miles for $1 per loaded mile. The truck rolls and steers easy and the tires all hold air. Full payment within 7 days. Thanks and good luck bidding. I've come up with a good lid for the battery box and the metal panels that go around the pedals and steering column so they will be included. I'm also trying to get a better center section for the floor I'll let you know if I get one. I also forgot to mention that I get a 10% discount at LMC truck plus no sales tax so if a buyer wanted some resto parts I could get you the discount and save you on shipping them because I only live 30 minutes from them. I picked up a rust free center floor section for the truck this evening and it will be included. So the only thing the floor and firewall area will need to be complete and rust free is the drivers front floor replaced.
