This particular MERCURY was acquired from a private collection where it was meticulously maintain and most recently was showcased on the showroom floor of a former Mercury dealership before the line was discontinued in 2011.When this beautiful coupe was not on display it was either used in local parades or just taken on "Sunday Drives" in the country side.This is an original steel body car and many of the repairs where performed a few years back but maintained on a weekly basis. Finished in single stage black enamel. Minor touch ups could be performed on the running boards and in various places around the body or not because it is still a real eye catcher and DAILY DRIVER, not showcase vehicle. The wear and tear is very minimal for a 75 year old car. The interior has been completly redone sometime back.The V8 FLATHEAD runs like a sewing machine after having the original 6 volt system brought up to par and having new plugs/wires installed. The undercarriage is extremely clean and rust free. This flathead is not a smoker or drinker just a smooth solid driver.ALL gauges are in working order. ORIGINAL radio, antenna and clock are in place but not in working order. The WWW BFGoodrich replicas have plenty of thread depth and minor discoloring consistent with most WWWALL the chrome is in place with very few dings or pitting. SOLID body with no fillers. If you are looking for an affordable classic with a LOW RESERVE ... then you've found your classic.
