The car sits in the garage during the week, with the top and windows down, as they don't like to go up. Its currently used for Saturday night cruising, when the weather is nice. This is a running and driving Cadillac with a decent interior, that needs TLC to be perfect again. I choose to leave it as is and enjoy it for what it was. It has a brand new battery and a recent alternator. The drivers seat has been recovered. Odometer reads 51k, actual mileage is unknown. The body on the Cadillac is very straight and the doors do not sag. It does have one rust spot on the passenger cowl, and a lil on the door, but is clean, otherwise. Like most gms of this vintage, the bumper fillers need to be replaced. The floors are solid except for behind the drivers seat, it is soft there. The trunk floor feels solid. I pulled the carpet back about a foot and didn't find any issues. The car starts right up every time. It does not smoke. The transmission shifts as it should. The brake light is on, but the car stops fine. It's been on the entire time ive had it. The passenger door get stuck sometimes and doesn't want to open. Lights work, horn works, radio works. It has a FULL tank of gas. Digital gauges are working. This Cadillac is now considered a collectible and is eligible for an antique tag. Less than 3500 of these convertibles were made. Not too many left on the road. You wont find a running driving example anywhere for less, don't miss out. Car is sold as is - with no warranty.
