This is a 1948 ford Super Deluxe 2 door sedan. This is an all original, ONE owner car. I bought it from the original owners son. I had plans to restore it and just don't have the time. He drove it into a barn in 1981 and thats where it sat for the next 32 years. The original owner died in 1985 and his son decided to sell it last year. It has the original motor and transmission. It has not been started for 33 years so I read up online and put a little bit of transmission fluid on the cylinders a couple months ago and have not touched it sense. From what the son said, it drove into the barn. The body of this car is in phenomenal shape, zero ruts through! The floor boards on the front drivers and passengers side along with the trunk floor need replaced but the rest is SOLID. The body does not appear to ever had rust repair, it just does not have any rust. For the age this car is in incredible shape. Looks like it may have had a paint job put on it possibly in the 60s, if you look real close you can see a slight difference from the door gams to the body paint. The car has a great patina. All glass in in good shape except for the one in the photo. It was a Georgia car all its life. In 1948 they did not give out titles so I have no tittle. I do have the original bill of sale along with a bill of sale releasing it from the original owner. I never put it in my name because I did not want to give up the original owner status and the original bill of sale is really cool!. I am located in Sevierville TN.
