Vehicle Detail

This is a California v8 base, a/c, column shift, dark green car that has all its' original sheet metal. The car has zero rot, was completely media blasted to bear metal and is currently rolling in PPG epoxy primer. The underside, firewall and subframe have been final painted in Eastwood Chassis Black. My intention was to paint the car Hugger Orange with white stripes, but any color can still be chosen. Beyond the pictures in this ad, you can review the build website links for the car below. It is very well documented. Body panels: - All born-with metal with zero patches, zero rot - All rust free body panels come with the car (minus the hood) - 1970 GM rear spoiler - GM sport mirrors Engine: - 1982 remanufactured GM 454 Big Block - stock heads and internals - New 48 IDF Weber carbs with manifold and linkage - Built by Pierce Manifolds - New Edelbrock aluminum water pump - Mickey Thompson valve covers - Hedman headers - ceramic coated - New billet HEI distributor - New power steering pump Transmission: - Professionally built TH400 transmission (Prince Transmission, Hudson, NH) - All new seals and bearings - New "Saturday Night Special" TCI torque converter Rearend: - Professionally built 10 bolt rearend (Prince Transmission, Hudson, NH) - All new seals and bearings - GM Posi - 3.42 Gears - New axles Suspension: - Complete Hotchkis TVS system with sway bars - all brand new - Stock control arms with Global West bushings - all media blasted and rebuilt - All completely new Moog steering components - Brand new Edelbrock shocks Brakes: - All new stock Disk/drum - Brand new Stainless Steel pre-bent lines - 8" BBC brake booster Fuel: - Brand new stainless pre-bent lines - Brand new Edelbrock BBC fuel pump - Brand new galv. fuel tank Interior (not installed) - Complete '70 interior (rare 1yr only) - needs to be recovered Tires/wheels: - Brand new Micky Thompson Sportsman STs - 15" - z28 wheels You will not find a more solid 2nd gen. Camaro. The metal on this car is simply amazing. The car is a project and still needs assembly, but is getting very close to being ready for final paint. The engine had approx. 20K miles on it when I pulled it from another vehicle. Each cylinder was dead on 150 psi and it ran perfect. It is currently not running in the Camaro as there is no wiring harness in the car. Completely documented build at: 73camarobuild.com Major things needed to complete the car: - Radiator - Wiring harness - Glass - Hood - Exhaust from headers back Over $17K in receipts organized in a 3-ring binder. Clean title.
