You are bidding on a 1968 Motesa 247 vintage trials bike,This bike was completly restored a few years ago engine was rebuilt and a lightend flywheel installed I competed in vintage trials events for a season on this bike.The early montesa's had white frames with their road bike front brake so it is not the mini front brake that is on the silver framed bikes,these bikes are harder to find due to lower production.The wheels are in perfect condition tires are new the wheels are akront wheels,forks rebuilt along with swing arm bushings and headset bearings,new bars and controls domino throttle,I just had the amal carb sleeved so it won't wear out and cause air leaks,also I just had the fiberglass tank and seat pan unit professionaly repaired so the tank will need to be repainted the seat was also redone.the transmission shifts through the gears well.I have not had this running since the carburator and fuel tank were redone over the winter but I have no doubt that it would fire up after a few kicks the bike pulled like a tractor.I rode on the MAVT circuit events I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS BIKE OFF ROAD ONLY I WIIL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE IF NEEDED Happy bidding
