Corvette Lovers, I am motivated to sell! You can drive this one home with no problem. Up for sale is my 1990 Chevrolet Corvette. A little background. . .This is my second C4 Corvette. The first one was a 1994 model so I know my way around all the problems of the C4. I have done a lot of research and have been around other people that have C4 Corvettes I know what to look for when buying one. I have enjoyed both C4 corvettes. The LT1 and L98 are worlds apart as far as power but I do not race so it did not matter. I sold the first one because I took a job in Maryland and once I got it up there I did not have a garage to put it in so I sold it against my will but it was the right thing to do as a caretaker of a Corvette. A non - garage kept C4 is definitely something to stay away from. When my tour of duty was up in Maryland, I went back on the market for a Corvette. I purchased this Corvette in Pennsylvania from a Porsche Collector and it was garage kept in his shop for a few years but it was not outside. As you can see in one of the older pictures in a clean shop next to a classic Porsche. I shopped at least a dozen C4 Corvettes and this one was the best for the money by far out of all the years I looked at ranging from years 1986 to 1995. This one has not been touched and messed up by mechanics. Everything is in place as it was from the factory. I put a new starter on it and a new Bosch battery, changed the brakes and brake fluid. I use only Mobile one synthetic oil and filter on it every 3000 miles. The car runs excellent. I am motivated to sell! I will detail as much as I can below. I will be taking to the Bowling Green KY Corvette Museum in April if I do not sell it before then just as it sits so it needs nothing to take a long trip except you! Pro's • Brand new rims and tires. Rims are brand new purchased from the corvette forum store and tires are brand new Hancook from pep boys. I have at least $1500.00 in rims and tires.Have original matts, Owners manual and 2 sets of keys. • Just had coolant serviced it does not run hot. • Drivers side electric seat works fine as well as antenna and all other electric options. • Headlights work great. Most C4 Corvettes do not. • I do have the factory rims if interested as well. • Car has some miles but when you see the car, it is extremely well kept and seems more like a 50,000 mile car. Runs perfect. • Transmission shifts fine. No noises or sounds. • Suspension handles normal for a Corvette no noises or sounds. No excessive rattles the car is very solid. • Seats are like new, no rips or tears. • Carpet and interior is clean. • Door panels are a 9 out of a 10 • Dash is great. All the gauges work including the tachometer. • Power windows on this car work perfect and even better than my 1994 Corvette. • Paint is ok. It is not perfect when up close but it stays waxed because I did not think a new paint job was necessary. I will talk more about the paint in the cons. • Front windshield is perfect as well as all the glass. • Just had the windows tinted with Suntek in December. Also has a tinted front visor. • Has a blackout light kit on it but it is a film so I can peel it off in 10 minutes if you want. • Has the off-road exhaust from Corvette central and stainless steel eliminators. This cost me about $800.00. The car sounds awesome. It is one of the biggest compliments I get on the car. • I have the exhaust wrapped in the black heat cloth so it does not get that hot at all. Guy charged me about 150.00 for that. • Car has a clear title in my name. • It is insured so I welcome test drivers. • Removable top is in great shape and has a special tint installed so it cuts down on the heat. • Cons: • The car sat in the window of the shop for a long time so the front bumper is a little faded and will need paint to be perfect. I will get this done soon so it may be done before you see it. The Bose system may need some attention. I think it may need one speaker but when you turn it up it sounds fine. I know this car has some miles but give it a chance it is solid as a rock. I will help in anyway I can as far as picking you up at the airport and or meeting you. It is a great car you will not be disappointed.
