You are looking at one of the most solid 70s Ford trucks you will ever see. Finding a truck from the 70s in this condition is almost impossible. I'm selling this truck for my uncle. He bought it in 1996 from my grandfather, who bought it new in 1978. I hate to see the truck leave the family but I don't have room for it. This truck has been taken excellent care of. Truck was never used as a work truck and hasn't seen salt. My uncle is a painter at Ken Wilson Ford and he painted the truck once just due to the paint being faded. There was no body filler needed. The only other things added to the truck that aren't original are the Detroit True Trac Limited Slip Differential, Sliding Back Glass, Kenwood radio, and receiver hitch. The motor and trans are all original. Seat is original cloth seat, and has been sewn back together in a couple places. It could use recovering but is in excellent shape for a 78 model. Carpet is faded and has one tear in it. Truck runs great. Starts up every time. No carburetor issues. I would drive this truck to California without hesitation. Gets 21 MPG on the interstate. If you would like to come and look at the truck, he will drive it to work and you can look at it at Ken Wilson Ford in Canton, NC. The window sticker, owners manual, and all warranty paperwork are still in the glovebox. Truck has some surface rust here and there and a few bubbles at the seams. Windshield is cracked and will be replaced before vehicle is picked up. Has very minor hail damage on hood. It's hard to see if you're not looking for it. Dash has a couple cracks. This truck has been very well maintained. Anything that it has needed has been addressed. It has had the A/C evaporator and high pressure power steering hose replaced. It has always had the oil changed on a regular basis and has always used Motorcraft FL1A oil filters.
