Vehicle Detail
A virtually rust free Southwest car rescued from a ranch in Utah with a clear Utah title in hand. A perfect candidate for either a high end rest-mod or a backyard fixer upper rat rod project. Originally and still equipped with a 352 V-8 and column shift manual three speed. Manual brakes and steering. It's rolling on a set a almost new all season 14" whitewall radial tires. The motor has missing parts and is of unknown origin. Don't know if its original to the car or not. All the soft trim in the interior is shot. The dash and gauges are in very good condition. All the window regulators and door handles are there. The winshield is perfect as is the hatch glass. The right fron and right rear door glass are broke. All other glass is there. The bumbers appear to be original and straight but need re-chroming to be perfect. All the stainless and aluminum trim is on the car. Some is very nice and just needs polishing. Some needs to be restored or replaced. All the sheetmetal probably has dings but none of it needs to be replaced. All of the doors, and rear tailgate open and close good. No sprung hinges with doors ready to fall off. Hood closes nice too. The front floor section in front of the seats has been replace with a new section from a donor car and has been welded in professionally. The left rear quarter front wheel well lip has some rot and need a patch. The fenders,, core support, battery tray, doors, rockers rear cargo area all appear solid. This car does not run but does roll and steer fine. Clear Utah title. Restorable but definitely not a parts car. Sold as is obviously. Buyer to handle shipping costs..$500 pay-pal deposit within 24 hours of winning bid. On Mar-17-14 at 11:47:32 PDT, seller added the following information:I know the body condition is of major concern to everyone so I want to be as open as I can as to what I see. I found that inside both right and left dog legs inside the jamb there was a metal patch welded. The inside lower right wheelhouse also has a welded patch. The right fender has ridge in it above the wheel well and both right doors need bodywork below the moldings. Please email me with any questions.More pictures available upon request. On Mar-20-14 at 14:22:44 PDT, seller added the following information: There are some questions coming in regarding the motor and color The original vin is present on the drivers hinge pillar and unmolested. The vin is 0P66X140486 X denotes 352 2 barrel The motor did turn over freely with a wrench on the crank. The color code is JM1 which is Monte Carlo red and Corinthian White The trim code is 45 which is red and white Hope this helps
