This is a partially restored 1942 Ford Cabover truck, unfinished due to health reasons. The chassis was stripped and meticulously restored. The engine and transmission are rebuilt, and the engine is still new and unfired. The truck has a two speed rear axle, and the wheelbase is the desirable 134" model. There is a clear Oregon title for the truck, and it has current Oregon registration in order to retain it's custom Oregon plate of " 42COE ". The factory vin on the frame matches the Oregon title. Attached are many photos of the truck and the parts that go with it. There was another parts truck, which is why you will see duplicates in the photographs, such as the extra radiator, headlight assembly and bases, tin, and other parts. In the photos you'll see some of the new items such as the new original style cloth wiring harnesses, window felts, wiper motors, etc., still in boxes. I looked over receipts totaling over $4500 spent, not including the motor and transmission rebuilds. The doors are in excellent shape. The cab is in great shape, very straight. The marks you see on the left front are just smears from when it was stripped. There is rust in the bottom of the cab corners you will see, and in the pictures there are photos of new patch panels for the cab corners and the front aprons. There are also pinholes above the right side of the windshield. The truck is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. I will assist in loading for the buyer, and will ship the truck. Due to the volume of parts, shipping needs to be discussed and agreed upon between us, prior to the end of the auction. If needed I can store the truck for a short time after the auction, again, that needs to be agreed upon prior to the end of auction. The truck is located in Salem, Oregon, 97317. I will deliver the chassis free within a 75 mile radius, but you will need to haul the parts on your own.
