I have owned this Jeep for almost seven years and it has been a very dependable winter vehicle. I am graduating to my wife's Nitro while she gets a new vehicle. This has been great for the winter we are just getting over in Michigan - never got stuck once. Would be a great vehicle for a winter beater or for a first vehicle for a new driver. Starts every time. Has the very dependable straight six that Jeep used for years. Just nicely broken in at 132,000 miles. New radiator in February 2014. New front shackles (I think that is the term) last December. Has expected rust for a Michigan vehicle that is 13 years old - in the rockers and in the driver's side floor. Quick fix on the floor if you are so inclined. Interior is in average condition - no rips in the seats. The air conditioning compressor seized two years and I replaced it with a used item. Never recharged the system (no need - only drove in the winter). Are rust spots on the roof - not rusted through. All lights and electrics work with the exception of the right front window which is slow. There is a small dent on the right front fender - not really noticable. Replaced front and rear washer pumps in 2012. Have maintained it regularly and replaced things when they stopped working. Tires are in pretty good shape - battery replaced three years ago. Check engine light has been on for a while - I checked it at Auto-Zone a year or two ago and showed an oxygen sensor. Runs fine anyway. Replaced muffler in 2012. It has a bumpty-bump that I think may be a wheel that is bent - crappy Michigan roads. Doesn't bother me that much so I haven't done anything to it. Replace rear wiper mechanism in 2010.
