Here is a 1965 ford mustang hardtop up on auction. This car would make a great father and son project and is very complete. It is a very solid car for its age and has never been restored so i guess its more like a survivor car. It still carries its original blue paint other than the primer spots where the paint was thin and showing its original red oxide primer. It has the optional pony interior with the 140 mph speedo and woodgrain bezels and pistol grip door handles. The interior needs a complete interior kit other than carpet. The car runs and drives well although the carburator could use a rebuild kit as it does have some hesitation spots. The frame rails are very nice and it also has all its original panels including quarters and floors. The only rust i have found on this car is in the bottom of the doors. i would replace the doors rather than patching them (new doors for about $500). This car is all original and matching numbers. NOTE: Winner of this auction must pay a deposit of $1000. into my paypal account within 12 hours of auction end.
