Vehicle Detail

Please do not bid if you can not pay. We lost our home and belonging to a fire last year and did not know nor did our lender know our insurance at closing was incorrect and it did not cover our loss. We have been struggling to get a new home built but are out of money. So I am selling all that I have to try and get us back into a home. My point is, we have been through enough and I just ask you to please bid only if you can pay. I appreciate it and God Bless  This is my personal project. I purchased 1 year ago and it was a fresh built hot rod by a local builder who does reals nice work. This one was in his shop and I fell in love. He agreed to sell it to my unfinished so I could finish it. The car was complete and drivable as it was but he had just started to modify the hood scoop to fit the bigger breather. So that is why you see the gray hood. It was already painted but was under modification. The body and paint are nice with only a few dings and minor scratches from being in his and my shop. I removed the dash and bought a brand new wiring harness that on each wire every 12" states what it goes to. I have completed the engine compartment wiring and added a electronic ignition from procomp that has module inside for clean appearance.  I also added the appropriate coil that is required for that distro. The old module for the factory wiring harness on that motor is still bolted on the wheel well but is no longer required. The only thing left is I'm not sure and have not had time to call the wiring company, they are great and easy to get a hold of, is the electric fan wire. You can run it off a constant hot but there is a fan wire in the harness that is already routed to the fan.  I just don't know if it is controlled by something in the dash or what? The wires are also run to dash and to trunk. The trunk is only wired in to the fuel pump. I was not ready to wire the tailights as I had not decided if I was going to use led or factory. While on the subject the tail lights are not bolted in and the trim on the bumper that goes around the tail light, I guess they are bumper ends, are scuffed up like someone had got into them while sanding the car. That drives me crazy but I planned on painting them black. Just telling everything I know about the car. The trunk, floor, and engine compartment where sprayed with some kind of epoxy coating that is like undercoating but not soft.  It's thick like bedliner but not rough. I'm not sure what he used but is pretty dang tough. That said there are a few chips in it from me dragging parts in and out of the drunk and working on the dash/wiring. But the car is solid, very solid. Nothing in the dash is wired because I was going to put modern dash gauges in. I was also going to finish out the dash and paint it instead of covering it. I modified the old radio slot to fit modern CD player. I think all the dash parts are here but I'm not positive, however you can buy pretty shiny new parts for these things and I am including a catalog for your viewing pleasure...lol Next I have the headliner but it's not installed and is a little dirty but it's vinyl so it's easy to clean.  Ok now a few other things. The door window motors are good and can be hot wired to work right now. But they are not wired to harness or switches yet. The rear vent windows I never got around to looking at. I don't even know of they ate there but I assume they would be. The front seats are in good condition, the carpet was probably brand new when I got it but it needs pulled out and cleaned. I would recommend putting a under matting or sound dampening insulation under it. The back seats look great but the leather is hard as a rock. So they will need redone at some time if anyone will be sitting back there. The door trim will pass as a driver but would need redone with seats to be really nice. I was going for daily driver hot rod so it was not important to me. The center console has a cut on top and is missing the bar that it latches to. I just put a new key switch mad wired it in so that's good.  Wheels and tires where off another project and are used. Tires are good and wheels are good but have a few scratched up spots that could use touched up. Last off there are a few spot on the bottom rockers that look like rust but they are not. The guy who built it sprayed rock guard and those spots are where it gunged up. I know because I thought it was rust and scrapped it but it came off and was perfect underneath...my bad.  In closing this car needs to be finished. It starts right up and will drive up on a trailer or down my driveway. It's got good power and sounds great. Brake booster is chrome and brand new but brakes need bled, but it will stop. It has a oil gauge and temp gauge hooked up just laying on the console for driving it around here at the shop so you can see those important readings. I hope I'm not forgetting anything I am trying to be very thorough so you know what your bidding on. I have bought on here before and got things that were no where near what they told me. So I have tried to walk through everything in my head as I'm typing to hopefully get every detail for you. Oh yeah, the fender skirts are here and painted but they made need repainted or buffed because they have been in trunk with all the other parts. The exterior trim is all here and good plus I just bought new clips to install them.  With buy it now I will included the brand new in box front disc conversion kit for the car. It was like $650. But without the buy it now I will have to sell it later to try and get my money back.  Please call, text, email me with all questions. I am open to offers and you are welcome to come see in person in Hot Springs, Ar.
