Up for auction is a 1968 Chevelle Malibu in need of total restoration, I purchased this vehicle with the intentions of turning it into a drag Car, but like always, other things came up and I have to sell. The Chevelle needs a lot of work , but is very restorable, or would make a good donor car, the car is all original and all there, the 307 engine runs very strong, there is a small fuel line leak so it needs to be primed and it starts right up and runs excellent, the 2 speed power glide shifts as it should, the doors are in really good condition, the floors are very solid with a couple of small areas that will require patch work, the frame appears to be very solid with only surface rust, the inner and outer rockers look to be very solid aside from the very tail ends near the quarters which will need patching, the front fenders could be salvaged, but will need fender patches, if I were keeping the car I personally would keep the fenders and patch them, the rear package tray is rotted out and will need replacing, the quarters will need replacing, trunk pan could be repaired or replaced, deck lid will need replacing, hood looks to be good aside from surface rust. The interior will need to be completely redone, the instrument panel is in very good condition as well as the entire metal dash, dash pad will need replacing, the brakes work a little, but will need brake lines, exhaust needs replacing.
