1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL California. This is a Euro delivery car that has been stateside for many years. The car was in a collection and sparsely driven from the early 70s till a few years ago when it was acquired by a retired doctor in New Orleans. He claimed the 25k miles to be original, I have some paperwork that suggests this may be accurate. The wear on the interior seems to be consistent with that kind of mileage but in the end there is no way to really verify it. I would describe this car as a really nice driver, I flew into Louisiana to view the car and ending up driving it back the nearly 1000 miles to NC. Asides from some poor weather, the trip was without issue and the car preformed flawlessly. This Pagoda has been resprayed once and shows well, the paint is not perfect but is very presentable. All the chrome and lenses are in great shape, the Euro headlights look much nicer that the US versions and are very desirable. The underside of the car is very solid with only two small rust spots at the back or the rockers, this is pretty typical and a simple fix that will not require any paint work.
