This is a 36 Ford that was customized as you see it in 1951 with a few up-grades over the years. It has so much done to it I will list a few things about it's history that I was given when I bought it and you can call me for more details. This car is as nice as it looks in the pictures!! Originally built and customized in 1950-51. In 1952 it was the winner of the Detroit Autorama car show and went on to win many other shows and then was put in storage for many years until it was brought out re-painted and refreshed and put in the 50th anniversary Detroit Autorama. The engine was originally built buy Andy Granitelli and has a 4" steel crank, 3/4 cam, ported and relieved, balanced,Evans intake with 3 Duces and Edmunds Heads. It also has a Powermaster PowerGen to give it the vintage generator look with the 12 volt alternator and battery. It has a Column Shift 3 Speed Trans. and a Columbia 2 Speed Rear End which lets it cruise at interstate speeds. Hydraulic Clutch and Brakes with Drop Pedals on both. It has a beautiful blue plexiglass roof built by a guy Southern Ca. and very cool and does NOT leak. It has a Chrome 40 Merc. Dash, 40 Ford Tail Lights , 40 Ford Steering Wheel, 48 Ford Filpped Bumpers, 50 Merc. Door Handles and Solenoids Door Openers. Drip Rails and fenders have been filled and molded to the body. The car is dead straight down the sides with very nice paint without any dents, dings or cracks and the interior is still beautiful with all the original Custom Roll-Pleat and Chrome everywhere. I could go on an on about this cars description but if you want a GOOD, REAL, 50's Custom Survivor that looks good, and runs and drives good just call me and we will go over it bumper to bumper or send someone in this area to come look at it BEFORE you make an offer. This car has NOTHING to hide it is that nice and cool. I am selling this to find and buy a nice 64-67 corvette coupe and cash talks.
