71 chevelle 402 big block, th350 auto trans. ss clone and nom. car runs strong,no smoke,could have had a rebuild at some point. trans works works and shifts well, has Edelbrock performer intake and 600 cfm carb. has in the last year new exaust,front calipers,fuel pump,alternator. also newer interior, carpet, headliner, shift cable, american racing rims. has a 12 bolt rear with maybe 411 gears, not sure. trunk and floors are very solid, i think a couple small bubbles in one of the rear quarters and one of the front fenders. the top is a mess, 4 or 5 places paint is lifting, mostly in the gutters, i chip'ed one place off to look at it. must have had water under it or not done well and sealed up so the water got under it later when it was repainted. i was thinking of just stripping and use some filler and put a vinyl top on it. looks like a lot of work to strip and repaint ??? it is a good street car or hot rod but not a restoration car. it looked like it started out as an auto then went to a 4 speed and now back to an auto. the rear window seal leaks badly and needs to be replaced and sealed up good. i had not done because i did not want to screw up the 200.00 trim pcs and have had it in the garage anyway. i have only driven a few miles but seemed to drive ok, dont have insurance on it so it mostly sits in garage. i dont know much of the history, i bought from a guy who bought from an auction and he did not have any info either. selling it because i just picked up a 69 454 nova to play with and my wife wants her garage spot back. should make someone a fun car. car is being sold as is. i would prefer paypal for entire purchase. missing a couple of the emblems and the cowl grill under the hood and the hood pins. car does have power steering and brakes.mileage is 65k but who knows, may be ?? car should be shipped or put on a trailer. it drives fine but would be afraid to drive it across country with out driving for a while to make sure all systems are a go for a long drive. like i said i have only driven a very short distant and am sure the car has not been more that maybe 50mi in the last 3 or 4 years.
