This beautiful "bullet nose" Champion was brought back to life 4 years ago after being rescued from a chicken coop in South Carolina, where it sat for around 40 years. The interior and exterior was completely redone about 4 years ago. Painted in Rio Green and tan tweed interior. To keep the originality of this car, the dash was never touched and only a couple of the glass pieces have been replaced. Keeping the car's patina gives it a unique look. Take note of the glove box, not repro papers. The dash, instruments, and ALL of the chrome are what came on this specific car 64 years ago. After the interior and exterior where completed the motor and trans where completely rebuilt and still powered by a 6 volt system. An electric fuel pump and additional fuel filter where installed so she cranks and runs like a sewing machine instantly. The motor and trans have less than 100 miles on them and several suspension items have been replaced equalling to a very smooth shifting and driving car on the open road. Most recent repairs, in the last week, have been the tank has been cleaned and coat, new fuel sending, and rebuilt carb. All the gauges do work properly, including the speedo All of this runs on top of a new set of Firestone WWW TIRES. This is a turn key classic. The only defects are a couple of rust spots that I have taken pictures of. Nothing that couldn't be touched up. I have tried to be as descriptive as possible so that you can bid with confidence. YES i do have the air cleaner and the overdrive cable needs to be replaced, I pulled it out and it got stuck so to avoid any issues I removed the fuse but overdrive will function properly as soon as cable is replaced...thanks for viewing.
