1972 Ford Mustang Convertible – equipment and options include: 351 2v engine, automatic transmission, instrumentation group, (tach, oil pressure, temp and alt) power, tilt steering, am/fm radio, air conditioning, full console, 5 Ford Magnum Wheels with new RWL Radials, (less than 1000 miles on the tires), silver “Hockey Stick” stripes, front and rear spoilers, NASA hood with functional air scoops, and flip-open gas cap. There is a new still in the box grille with sport lights included but not installed. The engine was professionally re-built less than 500 hundred miles ago with hardened valve seats and has an HEI distributor installed. The engine runs perfectly , does not leak or smoke and sounds great. All of the gauges, lights, and horn work. The convertible top is in good condition. The car has a clear Texas title and is has current license plates and inspection sticker. The car is located in Houston Texas and is available to see and inspect. The car runs great. The brakes and dual exhaust are in good shape. The car is owned by my friend and neighbor. His car storage and living situation have changed and he needs to sell the car. Here is his critique, he is much harder on the condition than I would be. Needs new seal/weather stripping on the doors and trunk The windshield wiper transmission needs attention Needs window guides/fuzzies The air conditioner does not work but is complete and installed The lenses on the small gauges are cloudy There is a 3 ft long scratch on the lower passenger side down to the primer (see pic) The hard plastic tabs on the convertible boot have begun to disintegrate There is some pitting on the chrome trim pieces The front bumper has weak chrome The radio and the clock do not work Contact me at anytime via ebay with questions, comments, or to see the car.
