For sale is a professional frame off restored #’s matching Tuxedo Black 1961 Corvette Convertible. This car has undergone a nut and bolt frame off restoration. The body is all original and has strong consistent body lines with a great fit and finish. The Tuxedo Black paint is near perfect, and due to the quality job, it was difficult to take pictures of this car because it reflects everything. The paint’s depth can easily be seen and in person it looks much better. The interior is a black Al Knock interior, it is cosmetically correct, with the correct shifter, wonderbar radio, and all original gauges. Inside the engine compartment is the #’s matching 283ci 270hp engine, with # matching heads, Carter Carburetors, # matching manifolds, and correct intake. It is mated with a T-10 4-speed manual transmission and posi rear end. All the correct shielding is on the engine, air cleaner, and correct AC Delco Remy Generator. The frame is a clean restored and detailed frame. The trunk compartment is detailed and a little over restored as is the compartment for the soft convertible top. The chrome has all been rechromed and is stunning to say the least. The stainless trim is in excellent condition including the door panels. This car has had less than 3000 miles on it since it was finished by the previous owner. There are 4 brand new wide white tires on the car. The car’s lights all work, turn signals, wipers, all the gauges and the emergency brake light works. The list goes on with this car.
