If you are wanting a low mileage Big Healey from California that has an older restoration but still looks fantastic and has only 3,000 miles on it this is the car for you. You can take this fine example of a British sports car to any car show or cruise along the coast highway all the way to Monterey with out any problems. I believe I am the 3rd owner Previous owner had the car for 32 years or more. He bought it in San Diego and its still here!Pervious owner did full restoration that was done over 8 years using original nuts, bolts, washers, clamps and fastenersWhen completed it sat in private show room from 1992-2010. Less than 100 miles was on the restoration when I bought the car. I have driven about 3,000 miles over four years or so.Odometer reads 23,657 I believe it is correct within a few thousand miles. It does not appear to be 123,000. The windshield does not have a lot of chips etc. It appears to be the original glass and is in excellent condition. Especially since the car was in 2nd owner's possession since the 1970's and he did not drive it at all. Later that year in October they moved the manufacturing to the MG Abingdon plant. The British Heritage Certificate has the engine number as IC-H/4132 and body number 3740/3566. The small plate that is usually on the left side of the engine block under the front SU carbs is no longer there.
