Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a very nice 1974 Honda CT70 trail bike/ mini bike. We are looking to make space in the garage and would like to sell it ASAP, please dont hesitate to make an offer. This bike runs perfect and would be great as a fun bike to ride around or make it your next winter restoration. I am selling this for a friend who is the second owner. He bought it in 2002 and rode it as a camping and river shuttle the last 11 years. They didn't use it much, and now has 730 miles on it. Everything works on the bike, including the hi/low beam headlight, horn, taillight. The bars fold down easily. Brand new tires. Newer battery. The bike will start first or second kick. I have a clean street legal Idaho title in hand. The motor makes no weird noises and no smoke. It can haul a 200lb person over 30mph. The bike is not completely original and will need a few parts in order to make it perfect. What is not original on the bike are the grips, painted shock covers, painted headlight bucket, and exhaust. The right brake lever is now installed (missing in photos). This bike comes with a few extra parts. The engine in the bike is not original to the bike, it is from a 1971 CT70 reading #CT70E-125994. The original engine is included and it runs good, but leaks oil. The original engine reads #CT70E-2322176. Also included is a rare original Honda service manual. Please take a look at the photos and videos below. This bike is located in Boise, ID 83706. I am willing to hold the bike as long as you need but has to be paid for within 7 days after the auction ends. I am happy to help load the bike and assist in anyway. I don't know what it will cost to ship this bike so please do your research for a shipping company. In my experience it will cost between $300-$900 to have a motorcycle shipped depending on who does it. I have never shipped this small of a bike before so hopefully it is cheaper. I have 100% feedback so please be confident, I will answer any questions you have as best as I can. No reserve $1,200 is the starting bid, if you don't have positive feedback or serious about buying please do not bid. Thank you for looking.
