1957 Posche 356 Speedster built by Vintage Speedsters in California. The car was built in 2008 and has approximately 6700 miles. This car was built using a 1966 VW frame. The car has been fully titled by the state of Nebraska as a Porsche Replica. The engine is a 1600cc Super engine that was recently tuned and serviced over the Summer. The transmission is a 4:12 manual 4 Speed. There are no mechanical issues with the car. The car cranks with the first turn of the key and the engine runs very strong with the car's light weight. The only defect that I can describe is that the trip odometer does not read accurately. The regular odometer works perfectly though. Aside from that, there are only a few minor imperfections in the paint that are evident in any car of this type. These imperfections are something that you really have to look for to see and do not stand out. This 356 has always been garage kept. I only drive this car in "sunny" weather. I have always enjoyed this car as a Sunday driver and have not burdened it with excess mileage. I have taken this car to a couple of car shows and always have people come by and make comments on it. I believe that the pictures truly speak for themselves and believe that you will be as happy as I was the first day I saw this car. Every aspect of the car is complete. The engine bay is kept very clean. The trunk is fully carpeted. The tan leather seats are in perfect condition. This car is the only one that I have ever seen with the custom housing for the stereo and speakers. I will include all of the components to the top, including the tonneau cover and windows. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I purchased this from a Porsche dealership in Nebraska in 2011. It is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange the transport of the car. A $500 deposit is required immediately after the auction ends. The remaining balance will need to be paid via bank wire transfer within 10 days. You will not want to let this one get away from you.
