Vehicle Detail

99 Subaru forester122K mileslow miles for subaru My boyfriend and I are the second owners of this car. We have had it for 5 years. Car comes with a hitch, roof rack, alloy wheels, heated seats! We have put $9,000 of work into this car. We bought it for $10,000. See some of the attached receipts. We will give you the mechanic's info who worked on this if you want and all receipts of work done to this car. It has a rebuilt transmission we spent $3,000 on that at 105K miles At 95K miles we had the timing belt and other belts, water pan, thermostat, seals, and maintenance on the car done for $1000 It has had the rotors and the breaks replaced. It has a new radiator that we put in. In 2009 A new Heater and AC unit was put in, Fender and bumper and a new hood were also put in. front axle is new Why are we trying to sell it? (Many of you have asked questions)The car is running but it is sorta pulling on the engine to get it to go over 35 - 40 mph.We have only been driving it around town and not on the highways. We have not really driven it around since this issue started about three weeks ago.Check engine light is on and we got it checked. The mechanic up the road from us said a cylinder in the engine is misfiring. I only got one opinion I can bring it to someone else. The head gaskets have not been replaced. I am not sure if they need to or if something else might also be wrong with the engine. Please note that is why I said it is probably best for someone who knows about cars or a mechanic to buy this so it will be a cheap fix. Subarus are meant to last a long time and 122 miles is not lot. As you can see from some of the recipts the 95 k service work was done. We have gotten a second car and do not have the extra money for this right now to maintain it.We do love this car. It has never broken down on us. It is just not running as it should be right now. With the proper fixes to the engine it should be good to go. This would be an excellent car for anyone who is a mechanic and wants to fix the engine problem and re-sell it, as a lot of work has gone into this car and once the engine issue is fixed this car should last for a while, and or if someone wants to use it for parts. Receipts for all work done available to you. This is a great car for the winter it is all wheel drive. Car is located in NJ. You are welcome to come take a look at it if you would wish, just email. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Right now we sell this car as is. It is still insured but I am hoping this sells soon so I can un insure it. Thanks!
