This is a Mexican built Beetle that has been titled in the US as a 1966 with a clear Michigan title. It has damage from jumping a curb that bent all 4 wheels and has damaged the front and rear suspension.I replaced 2 wheels used the new spare and straightened one wheel so it will move. It has the old style front end with a steering box, the rear lower control arms have been bent back and the front mounts have broken away from the spot where they are welded onto the pan. It has some scratches and a few small dings on the trunk lid, the left side running board has been bent and the left rear fender has some scratches and a small dent. It would be an easy fix to just swap out the pan with a good straight one. It appears that the pan was from a 66 and the vin is stamped into the floor under the rear seat, that is the vin on the title. It has just over 21,000 KM on a metric speedometer, the 1600 CC FI motor runs excellent and it goes into gear and will drive around the yard. I don't see any damage to the motor or trans, the pan is not rusty and is very clean. I just installed a new fuel pump after the steering damper broke and hit the outlet line and snapped it off, so the damper has been removed, something I should have done sooner. The interior is clean and being the base model it has the "drift in" old style heater with no blower, it had a radio at one time and the mount cage is still there. Other than that all it has is a light switch, flasher, gas and speedo are the only gauges. Wipers and washers. Offered as a complete car since the low miles and excellent condition make it a good repairable project. It cannot be driven as is but will move under it own power and drive onto a trailer.
