Get ready for an exciting hot summer with this little red convertible! These cars are extremely rare, especially in this great condition. This is a very clean and solid little car. Rust free. There are only a couple of minor door dings in the very nice bright red paint job Doors open and close solidly. Nice exterior trim. The steering and suspension are solid and tight. Good radial tires. Recently upholstered seats. All glass in good condition. The trunk is clean and solid ,decklid and hood open and close smoothly Spare wheel, tire and jack hardware are intact The transmission and rear axle are solid and in good working condition. The four cylinder, dual carb. 1600cc engine starts and runs. Holds good oil pressure. No rattles or vibrations. We have installed a new fuel pump and fuel lines. Carbs need adjustment, possibly rebuild kits. Though it does start and run smoothly, the idle quality comes and goes. That is a lot of the good stuff about this car. The one issue that needs dealt with are the brakes. We installed a new master cylinder, but the rest of the brakes will need to be rebuilt. This is not a costly or difficult job, but will need to be done before the car can be driven. The car does run, drive and shift smoothly but has absolutely no brakes.
