1971 Buick Electra 2254 door vinyl hardtop (no post)ALL ORIGINAL (including paint)runs/drives excellent56,402 milesmaintains beautiful, original, clean paint. great reflection & luster. typical chips here & there. Most people are in disbelief that the pain is in fact original. No rust. No rot. No bondo/body filler. No dents, No scratches. What it needs: A/C is currently disconnected, and compressor removed. A replacement has been purchased, but not yet installed in the car. Stock radio and 8-Track are not working. I am terrible at electrical stuff, and never pursued the cause. The previous senior-citizen owner put a junk plastic side-view mirror on the car, which I have since removed. I found a stock Buick replacement, but have not installed it. There is green cloth tape covering the drivers side door panel where the arm rest is worn (see pic) and there are rips along the top edge of the upper back seat (see pics).Vehicle has no center post between the doors, and is a fabulous, big, open window cruiser. The car glides along smoothly and effortlessly. Its has stock front wheel disc brakes. The vehicle has a brand new true dual (quiet) exhaust system. The road wheels/rally wheels really sets the car apart. The white wall rubber tires are also brand new Hancook brand. I trust this car to drive anywhere, and it could be used as a daily driver if necessary. quiet, smooth and reliable. send me any questions you want, or come for test drive. Check out the old duct tape that the owner wrote on, and placed on the front of the engine radiator shroud to document oil changes back in the 1980's. He wrote the oil type, date & mileage. I forgot to mention that I also had Petronix Electronic Ignition installed under the distributor (so, now there is no more messing with points) some one asked me about lights and headliner. ALL lights and directionals work 100%. The headliner is tight, and looks new. Spare tire is SEARS ROEBUCK Brand and marked 1971.
