Vehicle Detail
1972 International Harvester Scout II. Head turner - always gets a smile. Runs great, very fun to drive. 4 Speed Manual Transmission and 4 wheel drive. Needs a little choke to get started, but then all is fine. Has removable hardtop, although we have never taken it off (looks like bolts are rusted and will take some work to get it off). Interior is ORIGINAL and in great shape excepting small crack in dashboard. Most gauges (excepting fuel gauge) appear to work with lights (although sometimes a little finicky and you need to flick them with your finger). AM radio in great working condition. All factory lights are operable: low beams, high beams, brake, turn signals. Third owner (we purchased in 2006 in SE Washington) and I think original miles because odometer numbers turn. Custom painted like a Holstein cow by second owner. Has steer horns for hood ornament, additional horn that moo's like a cow (original horn on steering wheel works fine) and pink udder accents on wheels/bumpers. Original sale documentation from 1972 and original owner manual. Starting to show some rust here on the coast so needs to be sold. Very good shape for a 41 year old classic.
