Vehicle Description: You are bidding on a 1955 Studebaker V8 Truck with WARN Overdrive and Hill Holder. This truck is a ¾ ton flatbed with removable lift off stake rails. It has a rebuilt full flow 259 V8 engine with only about 1,000 miles on it. This trucks 4 speed transmission has a WARN Auxiliary Transmission giving overdrive, or direct drive in all 4 gears and reverse! It also has a Hill Holder, so you don’t roll backwards when stopping on hills and brakes were redone with dot 5 silicon fluid. A new clutch and pressure plate were installed as well as new dual exhaust, rebuilt starter and delco distributor with electronic ignition. The truck has a new re-cored radiator and heavy duty battery so it won’t overheat and it starts right up. Interior was redone and the exterior looks nice although there is some paint bubbling on left fender. This truck is ready to drive and perfect for hauling produce to the farmers market, selling swap meet items off its flatbed table, or just cruising the highways. The strong truck transmission coupled to the auxiliary transmission allows it to also go on the freeway. Many new parts were used in the restoration of this truck (along with some nice upgrades), making this a Reliable, Useful and Fun vehicle to own.
